Contact lens satisfaction guaranteed

Midwest Eye Care offers a 100% refund on contact lens fitting fees up to and including the third contact lens fitting visit.  If a satisfactory contact lens prescription has not been determined after the third visit, the patient may elect to continue the fitting process but the fitting fee will become non-refundable after that point.  A contact lens prescription cannot be issued if the fitting fee is refunded, and all fitting lenses must be returned.

Midwest Eye Care also offers a 100% refund on lenses returned within 90 days of the dispensing date.  Beyond this 90-day period, we offer a 100% refund or exchange for disposable lenses if the lenses are returned in unopened boxes and are in sellable condition.  We also offer a 30-day replacement guarantee for defects on durable, yearly or non-disposable lenses.  The lenses must be returned to MEC to honor the guarantee.

No-cost trial lenses will be used whenever possible to establish a good fit. In those situations where MEC must use non-disposable lenses, the lenses will need to be purchased prior to the first lens order.

Lost durable lenses can be replaced at 50% of the retail price within 30 days of the original purchase.  We offer a 20% discount to patients who purchase a spare pair of durable lenses within 30 days of the original purchase.

Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover the fitting fees and lens costs for keratoconus, post-refractive surgery, and high-cylinder lenses.  The fitting process for these lenses is time-intensive and typically requires the purchase of multiple sets of custom-made contact lenses, so the fitting and product fees for these lenses are not refundable even if a satisfactory fit is not obtained.
