Dr. Michael Feilmeier Recognized as Ten Outstanding Young American (TOYA)

In December 2014, Dr. Michael Feilmeier was chosen as a receipient of the 82nd Annual Ten Oustanding Young Omahans Award (TOYO).  TOYO is presented by the Omaha Junior Chamber and honors individuals who show exemplary commitment to improving the community through selfless acts of kindness while also excelling in their professional careers.  While Dr. Feilmeier has a long list of achievements, he was recognized for establishing the International Division at the UNMC Department of Ophthalmology to provide ophthalmology care and doctor education in third-world countries.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Feilmeier has now been recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans (TOYA) by the United States Junior Chamber.  Past receipients of the TOYA award include Presidents John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton, Elvis Presley, and Wayne Newton.

Dr. Feilmeier will be recognized at 77th TOYA banquet and ceremony in Nashville, TN in late March.  Congratulations to Dr. Feilmeier on this great achievement!
