At Midwest Eye Care, we’re committed to improving the health and wellness of our employees. Effective January 1, 2011, MEC will not hire applicants who have used tobacco within 180 days of their application date. All job offers are conditioned upon the satisfactory results of a consumer report, credit check, background check and urine-based drug, alcohol and nicotine testing. An applicant who has received a conditional job offer cannot begin working at MEC until the results from the background check and lab tests are reviewed and approved.
A fully completed application is required for all applicants. It is available via a link on the “Application” tab or at the front desk of our main office at 4353 Dodge Street. The application should be legible, free of spelling and grammatical errors, and completed according to the instructions. The application form asks for your desired salary, and that helps us determine which candidates would be happy falling within the job’s salary range.
