Patients undergoing surgery at a hospital will typically receive three different bills: from the surgeon, the anesthesia provider, and the hospital. Patients who undergo refractive surgery at the Omaha Surgery Center are required to make one payment to Midwest Eye Care a week prior to surgery, and Midwest Eye Care will pay the patient’s facility fee directly to the Omaha Surgery Center.
Patients undergoing surgery at Midwest Eye Surgery Center will receive the following bills:
- From the surgeon, via a Midwest Eye Care statement;
- From the anesthesia provider, via a Midwest Eye Care statement;
- From the facility, via a Midwest Eye Surgery Center statement.
